Assignment Planners
Each child will receive an assignment planner that is to be used daily to record assignments. Planners were given to each student at Pound by the PTO. Students will also receive a Homework folder with a "To Do" inside pocket and a "Done" inside pocket. This will be a place for students to keep all of their homework. Absent Work
All planned absences must be reported to the attendance office so the students can receive a pink slip, which will be their pass back into class.
It is the responsibility of the student to collect work missed due to being absent. This includes time spent in the Quiet Room.
If a student misses a test, quiz or any assignment that would require them to work in the classroom, they must make arrangements with the classroom teacher.
Please wait for 3 consecutive days of unplanned absence before you ask for work to be sent home.
TEXTBOOKS
Books are checked out to students for the year or for a unit. It is the student's responsibility to maintain the book in good condition. All checked out books should have a cover for protection. Fines will be assessed for damaged or lost books.
