Information for Students and Parents
Algebra is required for graduation from high school. Students must have a passing grade both semesters in order to fufill the Graduation Demonstration Requirement. 20 hours of Math are currently required to graduate. Algebra is 5 hours per semester, so students will need to take Geometry after completing Algebra.
In order to attend the University of Nebraska, students are required to have achieved passing grades in Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra, and one additional year of math. Since Algebra is the foundation for all high school math courses it is very important for students to achieve at least a C+ so they can be successful in their next math course.

90-100% A
85-89% B+
80-84% B
75-79% C+
70-74% C
65-69% D+
60-64% D
Below 60% - F
