The LPS Spring Break falls during our soccer season: March 21st - March 29th.   All three girls soccer teams will practice during Spring Break.  Some teams have games during Spring Break. When an athlete misses a scheduled practice or game (for an unexcused reason), this results in a 1/2 game suspension (40 minutes).  The 1/2 game suspension will occur for the next team game the athlete attends.

Example:

If the soccer player misses 4 scheduled/required practices and/or games during Spring Break, that same player will end up sitting out the next 2 full team games. 

Unexcused absences include (but are not limited to):

• Family vacations
• Other sport tournaments
• Work

Excused absences include:

• School-sponsored
• Being sick

Please communicate with your coach EARLY if you are going to be gone over Spring Break.  Special circumstances can be made when players communicate with their coach.
