CAREER EDUCATION
Career Education is a nine week course that is a graduation requirement with LPS. The nine weeks will be filled with activities and projects to help you in making future decisions regarding your current and future education; as well as allowing you to research and make tentative plans in regards to your future career.
Attendance is very important in Career Ed. You can take a look at what our tentative schedule will be for each day of the nine week quarter. Handouts can also be accessed and printed off this site as well.

Career Cruising - this site can be used to gain access to individual student portfolios created in class. You do need a password to gain access. Career Cruising is an interactive career resource designed for people to explore careers, career options, and education.
Bureau of Labor Statistics - this site can be used by students to obtain information about various careers. Students will need to go to OCCUPATIONS, and then click on OCCUPATIONAL OUTLOOK HANDBOOK.
ONET Online - this site can be used by students to obtain information about various careers.
EducationQuest - this site can be used by students to conduct scholarship searches, college searches, and gain information on financial aid.
East High Counselor Bulletin - counselor bulletins can be found in pdf format. These bulletins contain scholarships, deadlines, college visitation information, and college testing information.
Salary.com - great source for accurate and up to date information regarding salary and wages in various parts fo the country.
