Butterflies
In September, we had Painted Lady Butterflies in our classroom as a part of our Life Cycles unit. We watched them grow from larvae to butterfly. At the end of the unit, we released them in the Morley Butterfly Garden.
Fall Party
On October 31, we had a Fall party in our classroom! Many thanks to all of the parents who made this party a huge success. The students had a lot of fun!
Chet Ager Field Trip
On November 1, all second grade classes went on a field trip to Chet Ager Nature Center at Pioneers Park. While at the park, we learned about animal habitats and observed many animals.
