Which do you believe and why?

The world is overpopulated and we need to do something.

                       OR

The world is not overpopulated.

I would like you to write a essay convincing me the world is or is not overpopulated and why.  This is called a Persusaive Essay.  To do this I have selected some great reources from a database called Opposing Viewpoints. Read the links below to find "evidence" to back up your position on population.  Below you will find all kinds of helpful things and the specifics of the essay.  This essay is due on Monday March 17th.
