  • AXA Acheivement for students who are diverse and have a lot of community service.  Go to www.axa-achievement.com  Deadline of February 15!

 

Students can access these scholarship applications by visiting the Northeast Counseling Scholarship webpage or Education Quest’s ScholarshipQuest website.

Northeast seniors and their parents and guardians are invited to attend a Financial Aid Program that will be held on Tuesday, December 1 at 7:00 pm in the LNE Theater.   An Education Quest representative will explain: (1) types of financial aid, (2) how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and (3) where to go for help.  See your counselor for more information

Please follow the steps below to access this database, which is managed by EducationQuest and made available to Nebraska students.  For more information, please see your friendly Lincoln Northeast Counselor.

 

1.    Visit the ScholarshipQuest site weekly for a listing of new scholarships promoted at ScholarshipQuest. 

2.      Continue to be aware of Counseling Center Announcements which include scholarship information.  These Announcements are read at the beginning of 3rd period each Monday.  (Daily Announcements are also posted at several locations at Lincoln Northeast High School and are also posted on the Northeast website.)

3.      Click on the ScholarshipQuest website below weekly.  You will be asked to create a profile and then be directed to this database.  Only scholarships which match your profile will be listed each time you log in. You may update your profile at anytime.  This site is a secure site and your personal information will be kept confidential.

In addition to these Opportunities, Lincoln Northeast students are invited to attend one or more Career Exploring Groups, which represent six different career fields, and meet monthly.  A full schedule of events can be viewed on the LNE Counseling Website under Planning For After High School, Career Planning.
