Morley Computer Lab Information

Internet Use in the Morley Computer Lab

LPS has installed filters at all schools in order to filter out most objectionalable material. At Morley, students using the Internet are supervised by a teacher or other staff member. Of course, it is still possible to accidentally link to an inappropriate site.

Morley has a simple set of rules (and consequences if the rules are broken) for students who access inappropriate sites.

===============================================================================================================
Rules for use of the Internet at Morley School...

1. Only use appropriate sites.
2. If you accidentally get into an inappropriate site, push the BACK button and immediately notify your teacher.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN SUSPENSION OF THE STUDENT'S PRIVILEGE TO USE THE INTERNET AT MORLEY SCHOOL.

The staff at Morley has the best interests of your children at heart (we're moms and dads too!), and we will do everything possible to minimize any chance of a student linking to an inappropriate site.

Events in the Morley Computer Lab

A Computer Lab Open House is held every April (April 10-13, 2007). Parents and/or grandparents are invited to join their child for a class period.

Computer Clubs are a before school activity for students in grades 3-5. There are clubs in the fall and in the spring. Schedules will be posted on this web site the first of October and the first of February.
