We have 4 units during the year. They are Earth's Changing Surface, Electricity and Magnetism, Human Biology, and Weather.

Wednesday: 2-1 Skeletal System pg 38-39 (Bones diagram)

Thursday: Bone Characteristics pg 40-41 LAB:comparing bone and rock

Friday: 2-1 The Structure of Bones pg 41-42

Brent Schluckebier, an instructor at SCC in Milford, entertained us with a mini laser light show, a Tessla Coil, and many other electricity and magnetism experiments in December!

 

 In our lab, Mining Chocolate, we answered the question, "Which is more important, preserving natural resources or making money?"

 

MASS MOVEMENT PROJECTS

Their mission was to create a model of landslide, mudflow, slump, or creep.  Pudding, styrofoam, baking soda and vinegar, and many other creative ingredients helped make the mission a success for all!
