Intro to 3D Art

Exploring 3-Dimensional art forms including pottery, jewelry, fibers, and sculpture, students build a foundation in production techniques, as well as the concepts of responding to work and connecting to contemporary and historical design. Communication, problem solving, and decision making skills are developed through the artistic processes of creating, presenting, responding and connecting. Students are encouraged to express creativity, be able to communicate the intention of their work, and refine problem-solving skills. This class is a good start for students interested in any design field.
