Nebraska Wesleyan students demonstrating wheel-throwing techniques to beginning Pottery students at Northeast.

Beginning Pottery

First year students explore hand-building techniques with an introduction to wheel-throwing and glaze application.

Pottery Techniques

Second year students perfect hand-building techniques. Explore wheel-throwing techniques and refine glaze application.

Pottery Styles

Third year students develope a personalized style of Ceramic Art. Students are self-motivated and driven by Creative Process problem-solving models.

Empty Bowls

Pottery Students at Northeast created hand-made bowls and raised $525 as part of an Empty Bowls fundraiser event held at Nebraska Wesleyan. All procedes benefitted the Lincoln Backpack Program. Lisa Lockman, ceramics instructor at Nebraska Wesleyan organized the community event.

Private art lesson may be taken at the LUX Center for the Arts.
