Pinch pots have been created on every continent and in many cultures.

Students begin class by creating a pinch pot. Our focus is on manipulating the form and plasticity of the clay. Students knead and wedge the clay before creating three to five pinch pots.

The pinch pots are bisque fired to cone 06 and then glazed and fired to cone 6, 2228 degrees fahrenheit.
