Work Experience

Work Experience is a class you may consider if you have a part-time job.

Keep in mind, the following. . .

 

	You can earn up to 10 credits per semester
	You can take the course 3 semesters (up to 30 credits on your high school transcript)
	You should average at least 10 hours of work each week; but most importantly you need to have a total of 180 work hours during the semester (18-20 weeks).  Hours worked during winter and spring breaks can be counted.
	Most of the required assignments, forms, etc. are completed independently.
	You are required to check in with your instructor at least once a week.
	Your employer will need to sign a contract and agree to the specifications required for the course.
	Four meeting weeks are scheduled during the semester; you must attend at least 3 of these meetings for full credit
