Information about Mr. Sedlacek
I have been teaching art at North Star High School since it opened in 2003. Before coming to North Star I taught photography and pottery at Lincoln High School for 30 years.
I attended the University of Nebraska and received both my Bachelors and Masters Degrees from that school.
I've worked for the Getty Curriculum Development Institute over a three year period; I have additionally taken summer program classes at both the Kansas City Art Institue and the Colorado Institue of Art.
I have been active in the state and national art teachers' organizations throughout my career.
I like the opportunity teaching gives me to be involved in many different kinds of art media.
I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with so many fine young people in this school system and hope you will find it rewarding to work with me as well.
