High School & Careers


Seventh grade Industrial Technology students focus on safety and skills related to real world applications. Students explore and apply skills in construction, architecture, transportation, and manufacturing careers. Concepts studied include safety with hand and power tools, measuring, technical drawing, as well as proper work skills.
COURSE OBJECTIVES...
    1. The learner will be able to measure using proper tools and techniques.
    2. The learner will be able to draw using proper tools, techniques, and vocabulary.
    3. The learner will be able to demonstrate and use basic safety practices related to the ITE
       lab, hand and power tools.
    4. The learner will be able to develop work skills in the ITE career pathways.
