Welcome to Brownell Elementary Technology - Mrs Hitz
It's now the beginning of the third quarter and fourth and fifth grade have started their keyboarding unit. The program that the Lincoln Public Schools district uses is called All The Right Type. This particular program takes the students through each key on their keyboard and keeps track of errors, words per minute and accuracy in their typing. Every student has their own record of their keyboarding progress.
Another thing that the Brownell children are currently working on is learning to access their edisk. An edisk is something that the school district has created for each LPS student to store their work on their computers. This
edisk can only be accessed at school and cannot be opened by anyone other than the student by using their password.
