
The Lincoln East Tennis team holds a state record for winning 8 straight state titles from 1988-1995.
The Spartans have completed 27 straight years (in the 40 year school history) in which they have had a winning regular season record and finished in the top 10 at the state tournament.
The state championship team in 1988 was the first tennis team in East High history to win the title.
From 1987-1995 the Spartan's won 97 out of 100 matches, including 94 matches in a row, 7 conference and city crowns, 9 invitationals and 8 state championships.
The 2007 team finished undefeated in duals and tournaments! 10-0 in duals 5-0 in tournaments!
The 2007 team won the LPS city title for the 3rd year in a row, and the Conference title for the 2nd year in a row!
The 2007 team won the Nebraska State Championship breaking C.Prep's reign of 6 titles in a row. This was the NINTH team title in school history for East!
The Lincoln East tennis team plays in the 6 team 'Heartland Conference'
They compete in the largest (Class A) bracket of Nebraska High School Teams (28).
