| My Family | My wife, Kathie teaches at St. John’s school (Kindergarten). We were married in 1979 in Minden, Nebraska. My son Ben is a Junior at St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward Nebraska My daughter Claire is in 11th grade at Pius X high school. |
My favorite sport is hockey, I played college hockey at Lake Superior State College in the early 70’s. I like to ride my bike to school when the weather is nice. My son and I have done the bike ride across Nebraska (BRAN) for the last 9 years. I also was able to do RAGBRAI (Registers annual great bike ride across Iowa) last year with my older brother from Michigan. We like to go camping and spend time with our family, Kathie grew up in Minden, Nebraska and I grew up in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
My greatest thrill in teaching is when my students look at new situations in physics and begin to understand how to develop strategies to answer their questions, and learn to think for themselves.
My goal in teaching is to help my students LOVE SCIENCE.
