  • Collect data
  • Enter data into Logger Pro and develop a math model
  • Prepare whiteboard
  • Put a copy of your graph on the computer in front of the room
 
Wednesday

-GED exam shorten periods (32 minutes)

-Start presenting the ramp lab

-Formal lab report due Wednesday October 8
Thursday -Finish Presenting ramp lab whiteboards
-Post lab talk
-Example problem that will help students complete the Opus worksheet (#1)

-Worksheet #1 due Friday

  • Develop quadratic equation from graph of Vf vs t
-Example problem going from x vs t --> v vs t --> a vs t

-Talk about the temperature challenge (handed in 2 weeks ago).  How do you do it?

-Show the students how you calibrate a temperature probe.

-Students will do calibrate a temperature probe and do the challenge using their probe on Friday.

-Go to the media center to work on your research project.

-Phase 2 "reading and talking" is due Thursday October 23

 
Friday -Students will do the temperature challenge using a temperature probe they callabrated.Go to
