Welcome!!
I appreciate the opportunity to introduce myself as the associate principal of Mickle Middle School. This will be my third year in this wonderful building and 15th year in education within LPS at Dawes, Lux, Park, North Star Middle, and now Mickle Middle School. My wife, Amy, is a special education teacher and taught at Northeast, but has stayed at home since our three children were born (Adam 6, Abby 3, and our newest, Anna).
I look forward to the opportunities as we continue the high level of learning at Mickle and the challenges ahead as we begin our rennovation project. The reputation of the community, students and staff of Mickle is one to be proud of. Please continue to talk to your student and listen to their thoughts concerning the school year. Parents who monitor student progress help to insure a successful and positive year. We believe that effective communication is essential to our school and community partnership.
I plan on working hard to quickly get to know students and parents to continue the strong personal connections the Mickle community is known for.
