CLASS EXPECTATIONS FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Below is the rules chart from class. There are only 4 main rules so they should be easy to follow.
RULE 1 -ALWAYS LISTEN
At Morley, we listen with our eyes, ears and body. Eyes on the speaker, body still, and in the gym our listening position is criss cross apple sauce with hands in our laps.
RULE 2 - BE PREPARED
It is very important that the children be dressed properly for class. Shoes need to be tennis shoe style, not slip ons, heeled shoes, boots, or sandals. This is for the safety of the child. In fact it is best if they wear proper shoes everyday, because they all have a recess on the playground.
The schedule is on the web site, as well as on the calendars that go home.
RULE 3 - SHOW GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP
Children are to be kind and considerate of each other and treat others as they would like to be treated.
RULE 4 - GIVE IT YOUR BEST
I expect each child to try to the best of his/her ability. We work on the personal best (PB) system, always trying to better their best record.
