Discover Nebraska is a project created by the Nebraska State Quilt Guild. The Lincoln Quilters Guild visited McPhee and presented their quilts. Students learned about the history of quilt making along with Nebraska history. We saw a quilt that was created by the guild and learned what each block represented to Nebraska. Students then went back to their classrooms are recreated these blocks using paper and crayons. |
