SCOOP UP A GOOD BOOK!

Our reading-for-fun theme at Elliott this year was “Scoop Up a Good Book!” Each student built an “ice cream cone” by keeping a monthly tally of the books she or he read. We started at the end of November and finished before Spring Break in March. We read a total of 34,048 books! We celebrated our accomplishment with ice cream sundaes. Meadow Gold, Lincoln Center Kiwanis, and First Choice Credit Union sponsored our event, and Zoo School Key Club served the ice cream sundaes. Each student also received a free book as part of our celebration.
