Plants
K.1.1    distinguish between living and nonliving things found in a variety of locations
K.1.2    classify different seeds.
K.1.3    observe and identify the three basic parts of green plants-roots, stems, and leaves.
K.1.4    investigate what plants need to survive in various conditions such as soil, water, and sunlight.
K.1.5    explain that when a seed is planted, it will produce only a plant of the same kind.

K.2.1    classify objects by using the senses of sight, touch, taste, smell, and hearing.
