    I will respect copyright laws, and will not make unauthorized copies of software
    unless the original is clearly labeled shareware or in the public domain.

    I will not intentionally access information that may be obscene or offensive toward
    any other individuals, nor will I place any such information on the network or Internet.

    I will not create or add any folders or software to the Lincoln High School server
    without permission from my instructor.  I realize I may make folders in my home documents directory.

    I will not download any software permitting messaging or access email from the
    LHS Business Department labs.

    I will respect the security of any computer system or network and will not try to gain
    unauthorized access to system programs, computer systems, or another person's files.

    I will not use the computer systems to disturb or harass other computer users.

    I will use the computer equipment to meet instructional objectives, and not as entertainment
    (including MP3 sites and games).

    I will not waste or take supplies, and will print only when necessary to appropriate printers.

    I will not use the network for financial gain or any commercial or illegal activity.

    I will not engage in vandalism including bypassing security systems or modifying control settings,
    harming or destroying any data on the LPS network or the Internet, or intentionally sharing computer viruses.

    I understand that the Lincoln Public Schools is not responsible for any expenses I incur
    or purchases I make while accessing any on-line service, such as the Internet.

    I understand that the server is used for saving academic work, not for downloading games,
    sound files, or video files for personal use.

    I understand that LHS staff reserves the right to inspect the contents of my server folder
    at anytime and may delete any non-academic files

    I understand that violation of the above statements will make me subject to
    disciplinary action and can include the immediate suspension of my computer privileges.
