Complete the instructions
outlined in picturebio. When you finish, continue gathering pictures for the scavenger hunt.
Make sure when you save your pictures you save the full view,
not the thumbnail view!
Next, you will be introduced to
the history as well as basic
vocabulary
and concepts relating to
desktop publishing by viewing the Design Element PowerPoint. Now view the Design and Typography PowerPoint. You will use the two presentations as resources for your Design Article Review Journal assignment.

Week 9
Units 1-4
Now you have the opportunity to demonstrate creativity while creating a project of your choice. (of course,
you will need to first of all tell me your topic, show me a thumbnail sketch of your plan, and start
collecting your resources in a project folder. You will have this week and next week to complete your project.
project1
If you are not sure how to complete a specific task, you will be expected to listen to the Atomic Learning tutorials
and review the steps to complete the required expectaions. This project is to be viewed as a test;
therefore, you should know how to complete the tasks on your own. After you have reviewed the tutorials,
I will then assist you with any additional instruction you might need.
Week 10
Units 1-4
Finish your work on project 1. We will begin working with elements of advertisements, brochures, and
