Expectations for all of Mrs. Kneifl's classes:
- Attendance is very important. We will follow the Southwest attendance policy. Please attend class daily and arrive before the tardy bell - Thanks!
- If you come to class late, make sure you come with your planner signed indicating you are excused. Otherwise, you need to sign a blue tardy card. If you have three or more tardies, you will receive a lunch detention.
- Attentive and polite behavior including use of appropriate language is expected of all students.
- Makeup work is the responsibility of the student. If you are absent, please talk to me the day you return to class and check our class website. Coming in before school would be the best - however, we can also talk during class or after school! Grades and missing work can be found via Pinnacle.
- Students are expected to bring required items to class daily - writing utensil, textbook, notebook, calculator, etc.
- Hall passes (via student planner) are for emergency needs only. Please do not request passes unless absolutely necessary.
- All LSW student computer users should read and understand the Computer Use Agreement found in the student planner!
- Cell phone should be turned off and out of sight. After one warning, consequences will be followed.
- No food or drink in the classroom.
Grading
Grades will be based on tests, quizzes, homework, attendance, and a semester exam. Grades will be based on the percentage of total points accumulated using the following scale:

- B+ 85 to 89
- B 80 to 84
- C+ 75 to 79
- C 70 to 74
- D+ 65 to 69
- D 60 to 64
- F Below 60
