Contemporary Literature

About the Course:  Contemporary Literature is a course where we study relatively current literature with a focus on social issues.  One of your goals will be to make meaning from fiction and nonfiction texts using the metaphors of 'literature is a window' and 'literature is a mirror'.  We will spend time discussing this concept in class.
