So much to tell . . . but, as my mom always said, it's really not all about me.

I am blessed to have been at Northeast High School for the past 18 years!  I love the school, the students and the community.  I've had many roles while I've worked here, including speech coach and assistant drama director, but currently I teach the classes listed on the home page and serve my colleagues as English department chair.  I have also been active on our School Improvement steering committee for the past four years.  I'm involved in committees at the district level as well.

One of the 'fun things' to watch for is the spring staff one-act performance.  You will see me - and many other teachers and staff.  I love to be part of this performance each year!

I'm an avid reader and have been broadening my horizons with young adult fiction this year.  Although I have a pretty big list to tackle, please recommend a title if you think it is worth reading.

The highlights of my life outside of school are my husband and two children.  We live on an acreage near Waverly.
