Attendance:

Read the attendance information in your student handbook. This is the policy manual we will follow in this class. Recurring tardy problems will result in 1) administrative intervention (i.e., referral); and/or detention during lab hours; 2) parent/guardian contact; 3) loss of points; 4) removal from class.

Respect your own and other's life spaces. You are responsible for:

  1. Keeping all school property in good condition;
  2. Exhibiting proper classroom behavior including but not limited to:
    1. Not interfering with anyone else's opportunity to learn. Verbal or physical intimidation based upon gender, race, or ethnicity is irresponsible and unacceptable.
    2. ABSOLUTELY NO DRINKING OR EATING IN CLASS.
    3. Adherence to the LEHS School Improvement Goal of "Appropriate Language." This means avoiding language that contains profanities and sexual-, racial-, religious-, or ethnic slurs.
    4. Appropriate body language. Your posture speaks your attitude when your lips are silent.
    5. Maintaining a clean workstation.

Remember to bring your supplies!
Please arrange to bring an inexpensive pair of headphones that will be left in your tote tray. You will be working with sound and these will be necessary for you to be successful. .

Under the weather?
All make-up work will be completed on your time; but you're in luck! You have until Friday of the week following your absence to get your make-up work completed. Work not completed under these constraints will not receive full credit. Lab hours? You may work WITH PERMISSION after school. However, your friends who are not currently enrolled in a class which meets in Rm. B106 cannot accompany you due to space and supervision constraints. Check my calendar for my out of school commitments as you are not permitted to be in the lab without supervision, and I'm the supervisor.
