"It doesn't take a hero to order men into battle. It takes a hero to be one of those men who goes into battle."

The Persian Gulf War

To the best of my knowledge their were not any Lincoln High Students who were casualties during the Persian Gulf War. While I may believe this to be true I cannot truly say that I know this to be true.

No doubt many Lincoln High students served the United States Military during the Persian Gulf War. Our records of who those serving were, and their story, is wholly incomplete. If you served during the Persian Gulf War, or knew someone that did, we want you to share your story with the Lincoln High Community. Just click here and link to our "Stories" page.

With that being said, there are many students and alumnus from Iraq and the neighboring region who lived through the persian Gulf War too. We want to hear your story as well. If you have a story to tell, share it, exercise you right to share and let us know what it is like to live during battle. Click on "Stories" to share yours.

For those who are interested, the photo below is the 1991 Senior Class Gift to Lincoln High. It is a photo of the plaque that hangs in the front entrance of Lincoln High commemorating those Lincoln High Students and Family that served during the Persian Gulf War. If you look closely you may see that it has been defaced to a certain extent (those darn high school students!). If any alumni from, or the entire class of 1991, is interested in finding a more durable replacement, let us know how we may help.
