"And all this madness, all this rage, all this flaming death of our civilization and our hopes, has been brought about because a set of official gentlemen, living luxurious lives, mostly stupid, and all without imagination or heart, have chosen that it should occur rather than that any one of them should suffer some infinitesimal rebuff to his country`s pride."
Bertrand Russell
World War One
Twenty Lincoln High Students and Staff lost their lives in World War One. Of those individuals we only have records for one. I have traced the burial sites of many of the others and it appears that they may be interred at Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln, NE.
Because I am unable to be certain that the names match I have not included the burial sites of these individuals. If anyone is able to provide more information on our fallen Links from World War One please go to the "Update a Soldier's Information" page and provide us with what you have.
Click on the names below that are underlined and find out the service record of each. With time, and your help, the record will become more complete.
