Mr. Randy Emry
I am a lifetime Nebraska resident, the Emry family settled in Northeast Nebraska in the 1870’s. I graduated from Fremont High and attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for both my Bachelors and Masters Degrees.
I have taught since 1972 in Syracuse, Lincoln Northeast and Southeast. It has been an enjoyable and rewarding career.
Other than school events and computers, my son Tim is the key interest in my life. Tim graduated from James Madison University and William and Mary School of Law in Virginia and is now an attorney practicing Criminal Law in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is very committed to providing quality legal representation for all members of society. Obviously, I am very proud of him.
I have taught at Southeast since 1984. I am also the Science Department Chairperson and Science Olympiad sponsor. Chemistry the subject area of my greatest interest, though I did have a minor in physics.
Chemistry was the one subject for me that allowed me to ask why something happened, and then find an answer to that question.
