World History meets 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th periods in room 328.  Most often, all classes will be working on about the same thing each day.  If something is changing, I will make a note of it here.

Imperialism in Africa Map
Label all the countries using the map on page 395 and also shade your map according to what European countries controlled which areas.  Create a key for your map.

Imperialist Motive Spectrum
Create your spectrum and then place all the motives we discussed from most praisworthy to least praiseworthy.  Include a sentence for each motive and why you chose to put it on the spectrum where you did.

African/Asian View of Imperialism

Do the following three things on your notebook page:

  1. Create a protest sign against Imperialism.  Use words color and visual.
  2. Create a chant for the protestors that gets the message across about how you feel about Imperialism.
  3. Write a short "Letter to the Editor" that explains your view on Imperialism and what you would ike to see changed.  Your letter should be at least two paragraphs long.
