Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
and other helpful info.
What time should I bring my child to school?
The earliest you may drop off your child is 8:45 a.m. (8:30 if your child is having breakfast.) Students may enter the building at 8:50.
Where should my kindergartener enter the building and where should I pick him/her up?
Kindergarteners in Mrs. Renken’s room will be dropped off and picked up at the same place, up at the top of the hill on the southeast side of the building. There will be school staff helping children cross the crosswalk and assisting them in class lines.
Can I bring treats to share with my child’s class on their birthday or another special day?
Absolutely! It is recommended that they are store bought, and of course please bring enough for all students, currently there are 23 students enrolled.
Can my child bring his/her own lunch to school?
Yes, but please know that there is no refrigerator microwave available for student use.
What does my child need for school?
Students do not need to bring anything to school. It is helpful if students come with a backpack or bag to carry items to and from school. If you would still like to donate items to your child’s classroom below is a list of useful items that always come in handy in kindergarten!
