Kindergarten 
My name is Sara Renken and I am beginning my 3.5 year of teaching here at Brownell. I started here at Brownell in the fall of 2005 student teaching in Excite and 4th grade. I had great educational experiences in both grade levels and learned a lot. In January of 2006 I took a part time kindergarten position that opened here at Brownell. The following school year I signed on for all day kindergarten with Mrs. Hansen and it has been a wonderful ride ever since! Kindergarten is a wonderful and exciting grade to teach!
In my spare time I like to run, hang out with my husband, Luke, and play with our dog, Sammy. This last summer I started working on my masters in Learning and Curriculum from Peru State College. I look forward to the up coming school year and getting to know you and your kindergartener!
