Classes for Term 4

March 19 - May 23, 2012

Expectations for all of Mrs. Tvrdy's classes!

  1. Attendance is very important!  We will follow the Southwest attendance policy.  Please attend class daily and arrive before the tardy bell.
  2. If you come to class late, make sure you come with your planner signed indicating you are excused.
  3. Attentive and polite behavior including use of appropriate language is expected of all students.
  4. Makeup work is the responsibility of the student.  Students can check my website to obtain a list of missing work.  If you are absent, please talk to me the day you return to class.  Also, if you know you are going to miss work due to a school activity the work needs to be completed before you are absent.
  5. Students are not allowed to have cell phones in the classroom.  If the teacher sees the cell phone being used by the student, the teacher will confiscate the phone and the student may pick it up at the end of the school day (3:03).
  6. Students are not allowed to have soda or food in the computer labs or rooms that are carpeted.  If they have them in the room, the teacher will confiscate them and throw them away.
  7. Students are expected to bring required items to class daily -- writing utensil, notebook, folder, notes, etc.
  8. Hall passes (via student planner) are for emergency needs only.  Please do not request passes unless absolutely necessary.
  9. All LSW student computer users should read and understand the Computer Use Agreement found on page 4 of your student planner!  You are not permitted to play computer games in the labs.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me via email stvrdy@lps.org or by phone 436 - 1306 ext. 66356.
