Counseling Center Staff
At Lincoln High School students can work with various counselors. Students are not assigned to a counselor, but are free to see whomever they wish. Each counselor has specific areas of expertise and responsibility, so the question "whom do I see?" is best answered by asking "what kind of help do I need?"and then seeing the counselor who is responsible for that area. For routine questions or scheduling issues, students see the "Response Counselor" who is available for walk-in students and crisis intervention. If a student wants to see a particular counselor who is not available at the moment, the student completes a counselor message form and is called to the office when the counselor is available.
The Counseling Center, Room 213, is open from 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. If students are unsure about whom to see, they will be directed to the appropriate person. Parents are encouraged to call the Counseling Center (436-1527) whenever they have questions or concerns regarding their students. It is the responsibility of students and parents to monitor course requirements for graduation credit.
