CALLING ALL READERS
Do you like to read a lot?
Do you like to read or not?
Do you like to read in bed?
Do you like to read on your head?
If so, youÕre the perfect candidate to be a ÒcelebrityÓ reader on
Friday, Feb. 29th at our annual celebration of Dr. SeussÕ
birthday. Please call the office
to volunteer to be a reader in the afternoon, or call your childÕs teacher to
volunteer for a time to read to the class.
Thank you, Elks Lodge!
The Elks Lodge has generously offered to provide a thesaurus for
every fifth grade student and classroom teacher in Lincoln Public Schools. These books will belong to the
students, not to the Lincoln Public Schools or the individual classrooms. We do encourage teachers to have students
keep the Thesauri at school until they learn how to use them and understand
what an amazing resource a thesaurus can be. Randolph 5th graders received their thesauri this
week. Thank you, Elks Lodge!
