The Great Expectations Team (GET) met on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 8:15 a.m.  Present were:  Lisa, Jean, Susan, Kathy, Jeanie, Kelly, Susie, Nicole, Lance, Laura O., Pam, Wendy

 

The agenda included a review of systems:

 

1.  Leadership

Positive Behavior Systems training June 10 and 11

Nicole, Susan, Kelly, Pam, Lisa, Wendy

$100 daily stipend for any who attend.

Let Wendy know by Monday, May 12 if you are attending.

 

BIST training June 16-20

2.  Schoolwide

4th Qtr Assembly with EldersŐ Day on Friday, May 23 at 2:15 for grades K, 2, 4 and 2:45 for grades 1, 3, 5.

Jeanie, Kathy, Laura O. will organize and communicate the details to teachers.

 

Some classes need reminders about being ready and out the door at dismissal at 3:38.

 

Field trips—Teachers should let the EA team and the office staff know details of date, time leaving, time returning.  Kitchen, too, if involves lunch.

Invited Elders will be reading to classes in the Media Center in the morning.  Grades interested in listening to readers were Kdg., First, Second, and Fifth.  Pam will coordinate readers and disseminate details.

 

Elders will be invited to sign books for our Media Center, signifying their support of studentsŐ learning, as they register.
