School Improvement Process (SIP) Committee met on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 8:15 in the Media Center.

Present: Michelle, Connie, Jan, Jenna, Patrick, Trish, Pam, Wendy

Absent: Judy

Wendy showed the board and “presents” for the PLC sharing fair presentation, and led the group in practicing the words to “The 5 Days of PLC”.

Each member then shared the information from their PLC that each will tell at the PLC Sharing Fair at Lux Middle School on Wed., Dec. 13 from 4-6:00 p.m. Although each included a summary of all 5 parts of the PLC process, each grade focused on one particular part:

Kindergarten on strategies used in reading,

First on development of common assessment,

Second on essential outcomes,

Third on instructional strategies,

Fourth on SMART goal development,

Fifth on analyzing results, and

EAT on working with their district and Randolph PLCs.

The next SIP committee meeting will be TUESDAY, Jan. 15 at 8:15 in the Media Center. The agenda will be to plan the Jan. 29 PLC session, as well as scheduling the instructional conferences.
