Mr. Smith
My full name is William David Smith and I was born at Offutt Air Force Base on March 31, 1984. I have lived in the Nebraska cities of Omaha, Bartlett, and Lincoln and in Jacksonville, FL (for a summer). I also lived in Kunming, China for 6 weeks in the summer on a study abroad program. I graduated from high school in May of 2002 with a graduating class of 17 people! That fall I started classes at UNL. While at UNL I played club baseball, lived in Neihardt for 4 years, was part of the honors program, participated in Navigators, and was a part of the Chi Phi fraternity. I graduated in the spring of 2007 with a degree in Seconday Education with an emphasis in Physical Science. I also have a coaching endorsement and enjoy all sports.
I student taught in the spring of 2007 and landed a job right here at Southeast in April. Last year was my first year teaching and I am excited to go into my second year! I am teaching Applied Chemistry, Physical Science, and Differentiated Chemistry. I am also an assistant coach on the boys basketball team.
I got married on July 19th and my wife's name is Amy. In my free time I love to compete, be it a game of one on one in basketball or a game of cribbage. I love road tripping and am hoping to go to the southwestern part of the U.S. on my next excursion. I also love to hunt and fish. If you want to hear a good story ask me about my "almost" marlin on my honeymoon!! If you've read this far you:
A. must be really interested

Have a fantastic day!!
